The safety and comfort of everyone living here is of the utmost importance, which is why Atlantic Shores has a single controlled entrance and is patrolled by the community’s own roving Security staff 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Emergency Medical Technicians are also scheduled on site 24/7/365. Each private villa and apartment home is equipped with an emergency telephone response system for prompt assistance in the event of an emergency. If a phone is off the hook, the system sends an alert to our Security staff members, who respond promptly. We understand the value and comfort that exists in knowing help is there.
Our Director of Security, Stan, has 27 years of experience in the law enforcement and physical security fields. He served 11 years active duty in the Navy, moving up through the ranks, starting as a patrolman, then being promoted to supervisor, watch commander, and, ultimately, into the investigations division. While in the military, Stan attended school with focus on law enforcement and personal security. He went on to serve an additional 11 years in the Navy Reserve in the Law Enforcement Physical Security Unit. During his service with the Navy Reserve, Stan was stationed abroad, lending his physical security expertise to various regions. When Stan is not working, he enjoys running and spending time with his three children, watching their baseball and softball games. He also loves watching college basketball, especially when his team, Syracuse, is playing.

My name is Stan and I am the Director of Security at Atlantic Shores. I oversee 25 security staff members. I have been with Atlantic Shores since 1996 when there were just five residents living here. Over the years, I have enjoyed watching the community grow. Now over 600 residents call Atlantic Shores their home. Ensuring the safety and security of all residents living here is why I love coming to work. I look forward to new challenges and opportunities in my job every day.

It is very comforting to know they are always looking out for us. I am also very grateful to Jamie Lockard who got right on the problem. She stopped by my apartment and kept me informed of progress throughout the day. This is a great example of how well our staff takes care of us.”
