Our Executive Chef

Eric Doarnberger

Eric oversees every culinary aspect of all three on-site restaurants at Atlantic Shores, as well as private events and functions. His favorite aspect of being Executive Chef is the ability to work together with a talented team to precisely orchestrate creative, well-prepared meals for the benefit of our residents. Originally from Baltimore, Eric’s career has taken him from coast to coast, working at a variety of property types ranging from restaurants, to golf and country clubs, to flagship hotels. While Sous Chef at Vespa Restaurant in Baltimore, he contributed to the restaurant’s standing as “One of Baltimore’s Best Restaurants” by Baltimore Magazine. As Executive Chef at the Greenbrier Country Club in Chesapeake, Virginia, he created cooking classes, an annual crab feast, wine dinners, and an annual gala to reward members who sponsored new members. As Executive Chef at The Founders Inn and Spa, he supervised all aspects of food service throughout the hotel and spa, including the banquet kitchen, pantry, bakeshop, and the Swan Terrace Restaurant. A certified Virginia Food Safety Manager, he acted as the Copper Skillet cooking competition food coordinator at the IACC 26th Conference in 2007.
