Atlantic Shores is in Puppy Love! Our residents and staff have teamed up with Guiding Eyes for the Blind, an internationally-accredited guide dog school, to create the “Puppy Love Program” -- one of the first programs of its kind in the nation to link the generations together in a partnership to ultimately provide guide dogs to deserving visually-impaired individuals. This unique program is also partnering with Ocean Lakes and Corporate Landing elementary schools in Virginia Beach, which will open their hearts to the puppies with special curriculum, and puppy field trips to the school as part of their socialization training. Our two adorable black Labrador puppies, Joanie and Godrick, are making headlines across the country!
