Managing Director of Operations
Tripp oversees all facets of the day-to-day operations for Atlantic Shores Retirement Community, including Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Resident Services, Security, Plant Services, and campus insurance. He develops budget plans to maintain and increase overall revenue and profitability. He continually supports, trains, and inspires his staff, and attends to the daily needs of residents and guests.
Tripp joined the Atlantic Shores team in 2007, in the position of Clubhouse Manager. He finds it rewarding to work alongside a group of talented professionals that have a long-term vision for the support and development of not just staff, but the resident community as well. His background in Private Club and Food and Beverage Management, including his recent position as Clubhouse Manager at Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach, has given him experience that directly applies to his role at Atlantic Shores. He holds a BA with concentrations in English and Communications from East Carolina University.
Originally from North Carolina, Tripp resides in Kempsville with his wife and two children, and loves to spend time with his family doing anything that involves the beach or the pool. In his spare time you can find him playing golf or watching Carolina basketball.
